Who is Homespun?
Homespun offers the homeschooling child the opportunity to be a part of a team and to compete against other teams. Good sportsmanship and the development of interpersonal skills and sport skills are more important than merely winning a game. Homespun is a non-profit organization. All fees are used to buy equipment and to pay for ad hoc professional coaching.
We are a team of parents who offer their time and effort to this cause. Us as parents voluntarily take the responsibility for coaching, scorekeeping and umpiring. (No prior experience required – just passion). From time to time we make use of professional coaches for camps (clinics) and for specialized training.
