Homespun Softball

WHY SOFTBALL AND WHO CAN PLAY

Enjoy the FUN and social interaction that the game of SOFTBALL has to offer. No experience or skill is required. You will develop the skill of throwing, catching and hitting a ball and running around inbetween.

SOFTBALL is a social game that can be played on the beach, at family gatherings or whenever a couple of people get together. Young and old, boys and girls can play along and have fun together. Parents can also join in the fun when the mixed men and woman slow-pitch league kicks off in October. More about that later.

The organizers of the Gauteng schools league are very open and enthusiastic about the Homeschoolers’ participation. This presents us with an opportunity to involve Homeschoolers in a team sport environment.
